This wonderful expressive painting is from the late 1960's and signed by the Danish artist Emil Horbov ( 1915- 1990 ) The artist is known for his large minimal and dramatic landscapes, and here painted a calming scene of gently moving grassland and dramatic sky, using broad expressive brushstrokes with great chalky colours, very postwar. This lovely painting is calming, meditative, peaceful and positive, and with its large size would look amazing on any wall. Oil on canvas, with gold painted frame.
