Item Details

A vintage Carimate chair designed in in Italy by Vico Magistretti 1n 1959. Originally for a Lombardy golf club, before being produced for wider distribution by Casina in the 1960's. The chair is a design icon, blending effortlessly into a contemporary or rustic living space. With its original rush seat pad, the chair is solid for everyday use, and the beech wood frame has a wonderful colour and character patina. This item was possibly from  Terance Conrans Habitat, that sold the chairs until the mid 70's.
