A beautiful calming still life painting in oil on board. French, and probably from the 1950's, with gorgeous soft chalky colours, and painted with deep palette knife strokes, with loads of great texture and character. Colours of beige to blue with touches of soft pink, depicting what appears to be a wonderful rustic farm breakfast. The painting is within a simple painted wooden frame.
