Item Details

A fantastic pair of French fire dogs, or andirons from the 1950's. Beautifully hand crafted in wrought iron they seem to be inspired by the abstract art from this period, and could be thought to represent primitive dancing figures. They have a certain Giacometti influence to them, and probably unique, one off items. These are a super stylish items to decorate a fireplace in either a contemporary or period home. Due to the finer profile of the horizontal, this may distort over time under prolonged intense heat from continued use with burning logs
