Item Details

A very beautiful and decorative pair of ladderback chairs in oak. Dating from te late 1960's, they were made in Denmark by designer Henning Kjaernulf, known for his modernist interpretation of traditional Danish furniture blended with a graphic approach to detail. The chairs have an upholstered seat panel, easily removed for inexpensive re upholstery if needed.


A high curved backrest with gorgeous graphic spindles, and legs are carved with soft angles and flare. Front seat supported by a sculpted curved rod, and all in solid oak with a superb grain and light dull varnish.
