 A wonderful slightly naive but also sophisticated nude, signed by a Danish artist P Borg, dating from possibly the 1940's. Lovely smoothly painted oil on canvas, with amazing antique, almost Roman colour. The subject could be Salome, the dancer, and inspired by the painting of Franz Von Stuck. Paint shows cracking but all very solid and 3 pin holes. A very stylish painting, I think!
