A beautifully designed modernist desk lamp from France from the 1950's, originally for university accommodation. With a sculpted mid century flying saucer form metal shade in duck egg blue with off white interior. The shade is articulated from the curved black painted arm, then sitting on an angled blue base. 2 switches, although the 2 bulbs only light together. In good vintage condition, as seen in the photos. A very stylish item for desk, table, shelf or bedside.
