A wonderful studio pottery pitcher signed Charles Walgenwitz, from 1972. With soft glazed writing and a great eye shaped motif with date, over a mottled pale greenish beige glaze over terracotta.

He was head of pottery at the Beaux Arts of Besancon, deceased 2012.
