A stylish lithograph signed Smet from the 1950's, signed and numbered 4/15, in tones of blues, browns and ochre. It depicts an expressionist and surreal image of circus characters as stylized figures of the clown, dancer, trapeze artist and ringmaster, perhaps a love story, and is possibly by Gustave de Smet. Unframed but sold with mount. This would look amazing in a minimal or period frame. Size listed is the lithograph, without the mount.
