Item Details

A very attractive and stylish pair of glass birds in the style of Dino Martens from Murano, Italy, from the 1950's. Hand made and featuring white and black lines tapering to bordeaux within the glass itself. The body is made by coloured glass rods placed within the glass before being shaped to form the bird, with the beak and eyes added towards the end of the glassmakers process. They would look amazing on a bookshelf or credenza, and are in very good vintage condition. There is a very small chip on the base of one, although not at all noticable, and does not deter from the visual appeal of the items.
