This stunning sculptural, organic formed vessel, made in polished terracotta would look amazing as a statement piece in a contemporary or period home. Made in the late 1960's and quite possibly influenced by the work of Barbara Hepworth, Jean Arp and Henry Moore. it has a wonderful burnished dark leather colour, with a gorgeous uneven patina look. The item is very heavy and hollow, with an asymetrical opening at the top and features an egg shaped form with pierced hole through the vessel. An extremely stylish and visually calming piece. In very good vintage condition.
