Offered for sale is this best quality figured walnut chest on chest in the 'George II style' dating from 1900.
The drawer fronts are beautifully set off by the quality matched figured walnut veneers, with cross banded border. It has 2 smaller over 3 larger graduated draws in the top section and 3 graduated drawers in the bottom section. Central original tooled leather pull out writing slide. Ornate brass handles to all the drawers. Polished walnut sides. Solid back. Standing on bracket feet. It is made in 2 parts. All the drawers are oak lined with dovetailed joints & brass locks
Offered in good clean original condition. Lovely colour and patina
