Dimensions: 285cm wide x 274cm high, 62cm deep. The shelves are 138cm wide x 51cm deep and the shelf intervals are 3cm high. The pull out trays are 139cm wide and 38cm deep. The internal measurements of the drawers are 125.5cm wide x 51cm deep x 35.5cm high


This piece is in incredible. An enormous dresser, taken from a French Chateau.. this would possibly have been in a kitchen, pantry or laundry. The condition is good, but shabby, in as much as there are layers of paint visible which have been worn back exposing lots of layers. There are lots of bashes and bruises to the wood, but all is strong and perfect to use as was originally designed for. The drawers are enormous.. I imagine they would have been designed to store laundry.. and the flat pull out sections offer a useful surface to fold laundry. There are two shelves on either side of the glazed cabinet behind the glass fronted sliding doors. There is plenty of opportunity to add more shelves should you wish to. On the top of the top section on the right hand side there are hooks still handing.. I would love to know what they hung from those hooks!


The piece will arrive in multiple pieces. The main sections are the top and the bottom section. These are large. I would make sure that I had a couple of strong bodies with tools to assemble the unit and I would recommend that the top section is firmly secured to a wall.


A beautiful piece, that would be fabulous for the storage of so so many objects.
