Two mid-century Danish teak armchairs by Fred Lowen.
A superb couple of gorgeous Mid-century Lounge chairs.
Designed By Fred Lowen 1960s. An Australian mid-century designer.
I believe they are Model SC 58.
Relax in style and comfort with this stunning pair of statement armchairs.
This early version of the Mid Century lounge chair has a very ergonomic shape - curved lines and very tactile armrests which you can't help but want to run your hands along, they also have the very modern 50s style original leg sliders on the front of each chair.
The timber has been lightly sanded and Danish oil applied to the teak to give a wonderful deep colour and re-upholstered in a wonderful light blue woven wool fabric with extra large seat cushions to give a sumptuous feel when relaxing.
The price is for 1 chair.
They are dated 1959 - 1960.
