Item Description
This is a lovely sheet, it is an unused piece dating to around the 1930s-40s and entirely hand stitched. Charming monogram of the letters MS above a traditional ladderwork hem. Freshly laundered and ready for use. The selvedge still retains the "fleur bleue" branding which will fade away completely in the next few washes but gives testament to its unused status.
A good medium weight linen metis (linen union), sturdy but nice and soft too. This is nice and wide so can be used on a king-size bed.
I have soaked and laundered this sheet, it is ready for use. Colour is an attractive very pale cool stone/beige-white which will continue to lighten with washing.
