Item Description

A good quality, 19th century, copper mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number “615". To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. The mould is very well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. The design is known as a penny top due to the overlapping circles on the top which resemble a ring of copper pennies. It is in very good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Height 7.6cm. Length 19.5cm. Width 13.6cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
