Item Description

A good quality, Victorian copper jelly mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number “457”. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. It is also stamped with the initials “E P W” and these would be the initials of a previous owner. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design consists of four small, dome topped columns which are divided by lower double columns and scrolls. These are set around a central pipe. The mould is in very good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good enough condition for occasional use.
Dimensions: Height 10.5cm. Diameter 11.8cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
