Item Description
A good quality, small, 19th century, French copper gratin or pie dish. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It has a rolled rim and there are substantial brass ring handles to either side so that it can hang when not in use. This would be ideal for a small vegetable gratin, or an individual pie, but it can be used on the top of the stove as well as in the oven. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter 19cm. Depth 3.2cm.
