Item Description
A unusual, 18th century wooden gingerbread mould. This is very finely carved with human figures. To one side is a female figure carrying a basket of flowers, and to the other side are two military figures on horseback. The larger of the military figures carries a saddlebag carved with the initial A beneath a crown. This is probably Dutch and dates from c.1780. It is carved in a very dark, hardwood which has a beautiful patina, and the mould, other than a few woodworm holes which have been treated, is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 28.2cm. Width 14.2cm. Depth 2.4cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
