Item Description
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number ’42’, which would be a batch number, and the letter ‘V’ which is a workman’s mark. It is decorated with scenes from classical mythology to either side and these are set between trees and foliage. There are bands of laurel around the spout and the handle. The jug is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 10.2cm. Width 7cm. Height 5.5cm.
