Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip spill vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. There are also a couple of quite indistinct impressed marks which could be workman’s marks. It is decorated, in white relief, with tall flowers and leaves and this design is known as the harebell and acanthus pattern. Above this are garlands of flowers which hang from ram’s heads and to the rim is a wide band of scrolls and flowers. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The vase is in excellent condition.
