A fine early 20th Century sailor’s woolwork picture on silk, depicting HMS Sportive.
HMS Sportive, an S class Destroyer, was built by Swan Hunter for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending (1918).
Complete and undamaged, albeit faded.
In its original oak frame.
