Item Description
A wonderful collection of 4 large French garden cloches.
Reclaimed from an old chateau and dating back to around 1870, they would have been used to grow melon or lettuce.
As with all antique cloches of this era, the knob was sliced off, to prevent magnification and ensure an even distribution of light.
All of them are in great condition, one has a slight nick at the bottom as photographed.
