Vintage 1970's oil painting on board. 'Clouds Over the Forests' by Swedish artist Erik Emanuelsson (1914 - 1987) Abstract form suggests gently rolling hills and stormy sky. With a harmonious colour palette of vibrant jade and moss green, dove and silver grey, inky black and blue - plus a tiny pop of fluro pink lower left - this is the artist's trademark, and often seen in his work. Signed & dated 74 lower right. Titled verso.
Good vintage condition and mounted onto what looks to be the original frame - in good vintage condition, structurally sound with signs of light cosmetic wear including a few light blemishes to the white surround - most notably a mark to the lower left corner - the frames is included in the sale for free.
