Item Description
This Mid 19th century Indian Okhli, also could be known as a mortar, originated in Jaipur and would have been used to grind down grain. It is incredibly well-made and the quality is showcased through the intricate hand carvings and the strong array of colours that can still be seen, despite the age. It has been hand turned on a lathe, which created the lovely and unique shape it has now.
Nowadays, it can be used as a small side table or perhaps a planter!
