Large French oil on paper laid on cardboard of a gentleman at his desk.
Signed lower right corner.
School of nabis, early 20th Century, circa 1920-30
Good use of light, good general condition. The board having a sketch to the back. Will need framing.
Height 60cm. Width 81cm
The nabis was a group of French artists much influenced by Gauguin, including Bonnard and Vuillard, who reacted against the naturalism of the impressionists.
