A life size hand carved 18^th Century figure of Christ, we assume of Spanish origin with exceptional hand painted detail. The woven crown of thorns is carved into the head with metal iron spikes. The reverse shows a few support joints that would have allowed this religious artifact to be attached to a wall of sorts. This item is life size carved from what we assume if elm wood and therefore weighs close to 50kg.

Condition: Aged

Aged wear and tear across all the surfaces due to obvious use over the years. Missing both arms and feet, with a natural aged crack to the rear as shown but this does NOT affect the form in anyway. Worm holes are aged and have also been re-treated just in case. This is a very old item and we have tried to show all the condition as best as possible, please expect imperfections as shown.  A courier would be needed to ship this item due to its share size and weight of over 50KG.
